Happy mid-August everyone!

I always find myself is awe during this time of year. As the days begin to grow colder and darker, the transitory period between Summer and Fall begins. The blooms of color change hue, the songs of birds change tune, and I'm lost in the simple masterpieces all around. It's a beautiful time of year.

Whenever we aren't distracted by nature's palette, we here at Amethyst Pact Designs have been putting a lot of work into a few new projects. Firstly, we've been spending some time world-building as a setting for a planned story and possible animated series. It might not seem like much, but by the time you've created an original landmass/map and starting thinking about the culture and history of a fictitious land that fits into our real timeline, it gets overwhelming lol work is moving along well and will be a launching point as the "homeland" for characters and events.

We've also been looking for opportunities to expand our brand awareness and work with local non-profits to assist these organizations with generating interest without the use of AI. Should you come across an AI flyer about a local community event, please reach out! I am more than happy to assist free-of-charge for community non-profit organizations.

Another project in the works in customer graphic tees and stickers with a general "anti-generative AI" theme. Current plans include a series of 3 t-shirts with hand-drawn graphics which will be available for a limited release. Please stay tuned as our sticker design reaches it's final stages.

We have much in store for the remainder of this year and look forward to all the new creation the season may bring. Follow to keep updated on the progress of our future projects!

“2026 Summer Up-Cycle Arts and Crafts!”

Looking for a quick, cheap, and fun, activity to make a lasting memory this summer?

These simple painted rocks are an easy and accessible project and a wonderful way to add some color and whimsy to your yard, garden bed, or just on your desk!

With parental guidance (they are rocks) this project can also be a fun family activity to complete together with few required materials and allows the full use of your own imagination, the most powerful generative engine created.

For this project, you will need:
1x Rock (of appropriate size, preferably with 1 flatter surface unless utilizing the texture)
1x Paint Brush
?x Acrylic Paints (or other waterproof paint)

And that’s it!

Once you have collected your materials. Take some time to observe the rock using your imagination. What patterns do you see? Do you see a small landscape? Does the rock look like a face? What do YOU think can go on this unorthodox canvas? Think of looking at the rock as you have done clouds, seeking pictures and characters in the sky, just on your rock! In the picture below, I saw a waterfall!

After your idea has been chosen, unleash yourself! Allow your creativity to guide your hand as you create a completely original work by your own hand; no computers, no AI, just your internal world externally, in color.

Whenever you complete your painting. Place the rock in a well-ventilated area and away from clumsy hands/paws. Once dried, these rocks can be placed in garden beds, planting pots, on shelves, or as a great memorable paperweight. NO AI NEEDED!

Today we celebrate the 250th birthday of our beloved Republic. On July 4th, 1776, 56 delegates from the Second Continental Congress adopted our declaration of independence from the British monarchy and it's hold over us. This event marked the beginning of a new age and sparked a fresh dream in the minds of the world; the dream of a new world free from government oppression. The dream of a government established by the people, who works for the people, at the appointment of the people.

As time progressed, we found ourselves actively involved in turning the pages of history. We've fought, built, destroyed, moved mountains, and redirected seas. The following history of our nation is one of relentless ambition and could not be possible without the unifying idea of what it is to be an American. It does not lie in skin pigment, holy books, sexual orientation, or outward appearance. It lies in the very heart of the American, who understands cooperation is, and always has been, the only way forward.

Please take the time this day to reflect on the collective achievements of our nation, which was only possible through the hard work and dedication from people the world over, looking to do what it takes to earn a better life. The diversity we've collected since our nation's birth is the catalyst in which we've found progress. A world where individuals of any and all walks of life are free to pursue life, liberty, and happiness on their own terms, because that is freedom.

On this day, we take a moment to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to the defense of our nation, and its interests worldwide.

Military service is a call many Americans may hear, but few answer. As part of that service, we ask these individuals to break themselves away from the comforts of home to become part of something greater than themselves.

Today, we thank and remember our fallen veterans and allies who laid down their lives fighting for a better tomorrow for us all. Let their sacrifices not be forgotten.
