She offers walks, medication, feedings, and overnight house sitting for your precious pets, with updates and photos after every visit.

Peak hurricane season is approaching in September, and even with a quieter Atlantic season expected, this is not the time to tune out. NOAA’s latest outlook gives the 2026 season a 75% chance of below-normal activity, with 7 to 13 named storms forecast through November 30.

A few reminders as we head into the climatological peak:

🌀 Review your hurricane and evacuation plan
🌀 Make sure your emergency kit is stocked
🌀 Secure outdoor items and check vulnerable areas around your home
🌀 Review your wind and flood insurance coverage
🌀 Keep an eye on trusted forecasts and local emergency alerts

The August issue is out! Meet Jay & Frances Knobel in this month’s Family Spotlight.

Jay and Frances have led lives shaped by travel, adventure, and a deep appreciation for community. They spent many summers in the United Kingdom and have taken approximately twenty-five cruises over the past twenty-five years, favoring smaller ships.

Their journeys have taken them from South America to Alaska and as far as Vietnam and Singapore. One of their favorite traditions is renting large homes in small Italian villages with three other couples, creating memorable vacations filled with friendship and local culture.

Together, Jay and Frances embody a spirit of curiosity, resilience, and connection, qualities that have enriched their lives and the communities around them.
