Along with her food truck in West Ashley, Coastal Charcuterie is the FIRST to launch a Charleston D.I.Y charcuterie cart that is available to order for events! Kelsey offers a fun twist on the classic charcuterie board, such as her salad, sandwich, brunch, dessert, and Crute Platter boards. 🧹🦢 Our Nexton Nexton Neighbor Owned Businesses Spotlight this week is Heather Swan with Sweeping Swans! She is a business owner and has been a Nexton resident in Brighton Park Village for the past 3 years with her husband and family.

Sweeping swans started in 2014 and there are 2 divisions of the business which are a commercial side for multi family and a residential housekeeping that is exclusive to Nexton! The housekeeping division was started in the Fall of 2021 after living here and seeing how the emphasis is to spend time with others-get involved with the community- “I thought that if I provided our services than Nexton neighbors would be able to be more involved.” She prides herself on a clean home & more time with loved ones as well as the satisfaction of giving back to the community by helping provide jobs.

Andy and Joanna Zantow (Jo Lynn Guest-Zantow) relocated to Midtown of Nexton from NJ in June 2023 alongside their two sons, Caleb and Noah. Right from the start, they fell in love with Nexton's charming neighborhoods, relaxed way of life, and the wonderful, caring people who reside here.

We're going to host this every THIRD THURSDAY 4-5:30PM! This is going to be an amazing opportunity for business owners in our community to network and socialize. The purpose is for each of us to meet our neighbors and fellow entrepreneurs, and then remember what we’ve learned and as we go about our day-to-day work share their information when we might see a fit!

Laura lives in Brighton Park Village in Nexton and now for over 7 years can say shes an “original” of the neighborhood! What drew her to Nexton is all the green spaces and paths, she knew that the area would be a 20 year project and wanted to be part of it. Her kids grew up on the Great Lawn which is the best front yard ever! She also feels that the neighborhood does a great job in planning events for everyone to participate in.
