I just did some looking at the new LiveStream feature on FaceBook. I am going to be doing some hive inspections tomorrow 7/10/16 starting at 1pm. I will be looking into some of the honey supers checking to see how much capped honey we have so far, after looking at that we will open up the brood chamber and we can see what the queen has been up to. If we look closely enough we should be able to find the queen watch her move about on the frame. Stop by at 1pm CDT and join me in a hive inspection.

Great day to be a bee! They stung me twice seconds after ending the video. And 5 minutes later while sitting on the deck a lady came out of nowhere and got me in the ear! What the heck I was minding my own business!

Our Story

What started out as a fun hobby quickly became a prosperous small business. In 2009 my grand daughter Ella was born and I was quick to get her involved with the bees. She took right to it and by age 2 she was out working hives with me. We started to market our honey to local health food stores and very quickly had a strong following of people who snapped up our honey as soon as it was available. The proceeds from the honey sales were directed into a college fund that will hopefully help to put Ella thru college some day.

In March of 2017 we left Wisconsin and relocated to sunny and warm Surprise Arizona now we are just starting our bee business back up. Watch for us start marketing our EllaBee honey in fall of 2018.
