Did you know we've partnered with Pine View Wildlife Rehabilitation Center to develop educational materials about nature, conservation, and outdoor exploration for children? Well, now you do!

Our Working Parents BRG welcomed Wildlife Ambassadors Jeannie and Meg (along with a very special winged guest!) to our headquarters for an educational program titled The World Outside Your Window. Attendees learned how we should observe wild animals from a distance, how Pine View rehabilitates, and, of course, how children can play an active role in caring for the environment and protecting wildlife.

Some Earth Month cuteness for your feed! Quad Care’s 4K class stopped by Quad Cuisine for a hands-on intro to hydroponics.

Our Fork Farms towers keep a steady supply of fresh produce flowing through the Sussex café, yielding between 16 and 20 pounds every 28 days! The kids got to experience this Fork to Farm initiative hands-on, learning about hydroponics and even planting lettuce and harvesting basil to take home. 🌱

We took home a 2025 Wisconsin Safety Council Workplace Safety Award! 🏆

Our Franklin packaging facility made it happen with a standout 2025, achieving a zero DART (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred) rate — no injuries leading to missed work or job restrictions — and more than 100 safety opportunities proactively identified and addressed.

That kind of consistency and rigor reflects something broader across Quad: a way of operating responsibly where safety is embedded in the work itself and reinforced day in and day out. As Natalie Hahlen, Executive Director of Environmental Health & Safety, said, “It’s about making sure everyone goes home in the same condition they arrived.”

Last month, our U.N.I.T.E. BRG curated a full slate of experiences to celebrate Black History Month grounded in three themes: Roots, resililence and reach.

▪️Roots honored cultural heritage and shared traditions.
▪️Resilience focused on physical, mental, and collective well-being.
▪️Reach emphasized leadership, mentorship, and the impact of Black leaders in our communities.

Across Quad’s locations, U.N.I.T.E. partnered with QLife for its annual wellness challenge that pairs physical wellness with cultural learning. This year's challenge was aptly named Adventures in Africa as participants got to "explore" Africa. Nearly 300 team members participated logging more than 18,000 miles of physical activity!

In Sussex, U.N.I.T.E. hosted a Soul Food Lunch where team members enjoyed dishes like baked mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread, and peach cobbler while learning the history behind them. More than 80 employees continued exploring that history on the BRG’s SharePoint.

Beyond our walls, U.N.I.T.E. sponsored CAGE MKE’s 500 Black Tuxedos event in Milwaukee. CAGE, founded by The Andre Lee Ellis & Company Community Garden, stands for Community Agriculture Growing Experience. The 500 Black Tuxedos event is an annual event where Black male youth are paired with mentors for leadership development, personal growth, and community connection.

The month reflected U.N.I.T.E.’s commitment to honoring history while actively investing in people, relationships, and impact beyond February.
