PART TWO: The Solution

So after a year of fighting, sadly we are having to give up our dream of Shepard Barbecue being in Swansboro. After driving the length of N.C. to pick up different pieces of equipment and a year of paying for a place that’s doors never opened throwing in the towel and moving everything out was hard. The restaurant business is not a place for the weak and especially during covid.

So with some tweaks, a lot of planning, prayer and a storage full of equipment we’ve come to a Solution. Shepard Barbecue will be moving to Emerald Isle and taking over the location at Bogue Inlet Dr. we are in the process of doing whatever we can to renovate the place to accommodate seating for you guys. We’ll be doing some pop ups and selling shirts soon to help fundraise our efforts.

Now as for Nourish, fear not our loyal juice heads. Nourish will still be around....just not the way it has always been. We will be ramping up on our pick up spots for you to grab food and juice on the go. BUT most importantly Nourish will become a online entity. We are going to start hosting nourish as a meal plan DELIVERY and pick up service. Deliveries will go out a few times a week. You’ll have access to juice shots, juice cleanse packages, meals in bulk and more. Stay tuned for all that.

With that said we need you guys. We’ve fought hard not only to keep our dream alive but to keep feeding you guys. We love the customers/friends we’ve made over the years and don’t wanna lose that. We started all this because we wanted something different in the area, something unique, fresh, and not over processed. But with out your support as quick as we came is as quick as we’ll be gone. We have lots of plans to not only hopefully supply great food but also jobs for people in our community. We have plans for charity work and just adding another great location that we can all be proud of. If you’ve ever enjoyed a visit with us and plan to come back, come and see us. We know with your help we’ll see you on the other side of this. Until then stay safe and be great.
