Dr. Kenneth Lacovara has chased dinosaurs across Patagonia, Egypt, and China — and discovered Dreadnoughtus schrani, one of the largest dinosaurs ever found. He's a TED speaker, Explorers Club Medal recipient, and author. But one of his greatest discoveries happened right here in South Jersey, where a marl quarry in Mantua Township revealed a "death layer" tied to the asteroid that ended the age of dinosaurs — and led to the creation of the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University.

After health struggles pulled her from school for months, Mahi channeled her experience into founding the Community Teen Wellness Program — a peer-led initiative focused on practical and accessible approaches to health; and Yoga Beyond Boundaries — an adaptive yoga program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Christine is a beloved Digital Design and Illustration teacher at Kingsway Regional High School, inspiring creativity in her students year after year. Her incredible talent recently shined beyond the classroom when she won the contest to design the new logo on the Woolwich water tower — a lasting mark of hometown pride!
Christine and her husband Chazz, who have been married for 29 years, built their beautiful Woolwich home in the early 2000s, where they’ve raised their daughter Charlize, a talented artist following in her mom’s creative footsteps.
We’re so proud to showcase a family whose passion, artistry, and community spirit make Woolwich such a special place to call home. ❤️

🌟 Meet the Hasenauer Family! 🌟
This month, we’re thrilled to feature Paula and Mark Hasenauer on the cover of our community magazine! Longtime Woolwich residents, the Hasenauers have called this beautiful town home for over 20 years, raising their four amazing children—Matthew (22), Danielle (20), Jessica (18), and Madelyn (13)—right here in our neighborhood.
You may already know Paula as a compassionate and dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner—and if you haven’t seen it yet, her new practice, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, recently opened its doors in Swedesboro, helping local families with the care and support they need.
Mark brings his passion and discipline to both his work in finance and as the owner of Swedesboro Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, where he's helping to shape confidence and strength in kids and adults alike throughout our community.
