The CAD Files For The IPhone 15 Pro Designs Were Leaked Today❗️❗️❗️
🔘 They appear to show the frame with a slightly curved edge leading into the flat surface of the display and rear glass enclosure. Similar to the design of the new MacBook Pros.
🔘 On the bottom it appears to have removed the lightening port which suggests the iPhone is finally switching to USB-C ! This could potentially lead to faster charging and data transfer speeds
🔘 This is not a huge surprise after the recent actions taken by the European Union to standardize USB-C for all devices manufactured after December 28th 2024
🔘 The volume buttons , mute switch and Sleep/Wake (power) button appear to be embedded, which could indicate apple is indeed switching to non physical buttons. Similar to the iPhone 7 home button that replaced a physical click and instead provided haptic feedback when pressed. While a non physical button could benefit for things such as increased water resistance it is unclear how this function will work for a device that is having software related issues or needs to be put into recovery mode or be reset.
🔘 The camera module bump appears to have once again become thicker 😅 almost the same depth as the phone itself. Hopefully that means some big camera improvements are coming like the rumored periscope lens for enhanced optical zoom.
🛑 These images DO NOT confirm this is the final design of the new iPhone these “CAD” files are intended to show the dimensions and are usually provided to third party companies in advance, in order for accessories such as Cases , Chargers , Wallets, Screen protectors, etc can be manufactured prior to the phones release.
