One of my favorite things about digital marketing is taking a big idea and turning it into an actual strategy.

For Micah Shippee, PhD and the launch of 2059: The Future of Education, that meant taking complex educational concepts and building a multi-channel digital strategy around them.

We combined strategic content, targeted video, and paid advertising across Facebook and Instagram to build awareness and drive traffic.

And the initial campaign delivered:

šŸ“ˆ 36.7K video views
šŸ“ˆ 30.8K people reached
šŸ“ˆ 2,521 link clicks
šŸ“ˆ $0.20 CPC

But results aren't the only thing that matters.

The strategy needs to make sense to the person you're working with, too.

Micah's feedback about our work really stuck with me:

"You brought structured marketing plans to the table... and made executing complex digital campaigns feel clear and seamless."

That's the goal.

Not just more posts.

Not just more ads.

A strategy that connects all the pieces.

If your marketing feels scattered right now, I'd love to help you create a clearer path forward.

A little behind the scenes today. ā˜•šŸ’»

Running a marketing business isn't just creating pretty graphics.

It's strategy sessions, content planning, analytics, client communication, brainstorming, and a lot of coffee.

One thing I've learned is that consistency doesn't happen by accident—it happens because you have a plan.

Today's focus: helping my clients show up online with confidence and purpose.

What's on your to-do list today?

If you've ever stared at your phone thinking...

"What am I supposed to post today?" šŸ™ƒ

You're definitely not alone.

The truth is, you don't need to chase every trend or reinvent the wheel to create valuable content. Some of the best-performing posts come from answering common questions, sharing your process, or teaching one simple thing your audience can use right away.

When you're stuck, come back to these five ideas and focus on helping—not impressing.

✨ Which idea are you going to try first?

Growing on social media isn't about posting every day—it's about giving people a reason to trust you.

The brands that consistently attract customers don't just sell. They educate, share real results, show the people behind the business, and create genuine conversations.

If your content feels like it's not getting traction, ask yourself:
"Am I creating value, or just creating posts?"

Small shifts in your content strategy can make a big difference over time.

šŸ’¬ Which type of content do you find performs best for your business—educational posts, behind-the-scenes content, or client success stories?

Save this post for your next content planning session, and follow Sydney Catal Marketing for practical digital marketing tips that help businesses grow online.

Most businesses treat emails like ads…
and that’s exactly why people stop opening them.

Your inbox isn’t a billboard — it’s a relationship.

The brands that win with email don’t just sell. They connect, tell stories, and deliver value people actually want to read.

Because when your emails feel human, relevant, and worth opening…
that’s when the clicks (and conversions) follow.

Stop blasting. Start building trust. šŸ“©

Pretty posts catch attention… but useful posts create impact.

Likes are nice — but saves and shares? That’s what actually grows your brand.

When your content teaches, solves, or inspires, it sticks. It gets revisited. It gets passed on.

So instead of asking ā€œDoes this look good?ā€
Start asking ā€œIs this valuable?ā€

Because the content that performs best isn’t just seen — it’s saved and shared. šŸ”

You could have the perfect offer… and still lose the sale.

Why? Your website experience.

A slow, clunky site doesn’t just frustrate people — it quietly pushes them away before they even see what you’re selling.

Every extra second of load time = lost attention, lost trust, lost conversions.

Speed isn’t a ā€œnice to have.ā€ It’s part of your sales strategy.

Because if your site can’t keep up… your customers won’t wait. ⚔

Posting every day feels productive… but without a clear strategy, it’s just noise.

A strong social media strategy turns content into conversions — guiding your audience from scroll → interest → trust → sale.

Stop posting just to stay active. Start posting with intention.

Because visibility without direction doesn’t drive sales — strategy does. šŸ“ˆ

Customer attention isn’t won by being perfect — it’s kept by being real.

In a world full of polished content, authenticity is what actually stops the scroll. People connect with people, not perfection.

Show up as you are. Share the behind-the-scenes. Speak like a human, not a brand.

Because when your audience feels you, they stay with you.

This video is something I end up explaining to clients all the time

It sounds small, but it’s usually the exact thing holding their marketing back

I think a lot of businesses assume they need to do more
more posts, more platforms, more everything
when really… it’s about doing a few things properly

I’ve been in this space for years now, and I still see the same patterns over and over

If your marketing feels a bit all over the place or like it’s not getting results
there’s usually a reason for that

If you want a second set of eyes on what you’re doing
or just want someone to help you simplify it all
