$1 MILLION REQUESTED STEM Education Program in SeaTac by U S Govt Congressman Adam Smith
I would like to express my deep appreciation for the leadership of our US Representative, Congressman Adam Smith. Not only does he serve as the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, where he is a strong advocate for our military personnel and their families, but he has also been a steadfast supporter of the US resettlement program.
I, Floribert Mubalama, arrived in the US through the resettlement program, and since then, I have had the privilege of working closely with Congressman Smith on issues relevant to Congolese integration into the 9th Congressional District, Washington State, and into the entire United States. I have witnessed his charismatic sponsorship and support of policies that promote the social and economic well-being of refugees and immigrants in Washington State. Recognizing the digital divide that creates disparities preventing Sub-Saharan Africans from entering the growing iTech career market, Congressman Smith has once again demonstrated his commitment by submitting a Community Appropriation budget proposal to close that gap. Here is what we are expecting:

STEM Education Program in SeaTac
This program, through the Congolese Integration Network, is designed to equip refugee and immigrant communities with essential digital literacy skills needed to enter STEM fields.
