REMINDER: USPS rates are increasing in July.

WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Postal Service today filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) of mailing services price changes to take effect on July 12. The new rates include a 4-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp from 78 cents to 82 cents.

The USPS has announced the following increases taking effect July 12th:


First-class retail (stamps): $0.82 (up from $0.78
FC Letters: $0.621 - $0.707 (up from $0.593 - $0.672)
FC Flats (1oz or less): $1.025 - $1.585 (up from $0.97 - $1.488)
Standard Letters: $0.395 - $0.467 (up from $0.372 - $0.433)
NP Letters: $0.185 - $0.257 (up from $0.178 - $0.239)
Standard Flats (4oz or less): $0.783 - $1.26 (up from $0.77 - $1.101)
NP Flats (4oz or less): $0.516 - $0.993 (up from $0.503 - $0.918)

Everyone at Rapid Press is heartbroken about the unexpected passing of Joel Foy. We send our condolences and will stand strong with the Joel Foy Electrical Service family knowing that they will continue his legacy of amazing service. Joel may no longer be with us, but he will continue to light the way for those who knew him.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our founder, Joel Foy.

Joel built this company on integrity, hard work, and a genuine commitment to serving our community. His passion for quality workmanship and his care for customers and employees alike set the standard for who we are today, and we will continue to operate in his memory and honor. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the team he built, and the countless lives he touched.

We are deeply grateful for Joel’s leadership and vision, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Wildwood Church (100 Ox Bottom Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312). In lieu of flowers, we want to continue Joel’s legacy by supporting future electricians. Please be on the lookout for updates soon on how you can donate.
