I’m grateful for every person who supported me throughout my R.I.S.E. UP. journey. 🙏🏾

When I started this program at 12 years old, I knew I wanted to learn more about leadership and how I could make a difference. I didn’t know how much I would grow or how many opportunities I would have to share my ideas.

For my capstone, I chose to focus on Youth Gun Violence in Georgia because it is an issue that affects young people and our communities. I spent a lot of time researching, writing, preparing, and thinking about solutions. I even decided to take my project further by turning my research into a published white paper.

Thank you to the DeKalb County Office of Youth Services and the R.I.S.E. UP. Youth Leadership Program for giving young people like me a place to learn, lead, and most importantly, have our voices heard.

Thank you to the program facilitators, mentors, DeKalb County leaders, and everyone who listened to my presentation, encouraged me, gave me feedback, or supported my work.

A special thank you to Mr. Jantzen Kendall, Youth Services Coordinator, for believing in young people, encouraging me throughout this experience, and continuing to create opportunities for youth throughout DeKalb County.

I also want to give a special thank you to my mom, Ayonna Harrison Mogul, CEO of Family Wealth Moguls, for continuing to believe in me, support my ideas, push me to go further, and make sure I have opportunities to grow. Thank you for always reminding me that what I do today is helping build something bigger than myself.

And thank you to the Harrison Mogul Dynasty for always standing behind me and celebrating every step of the journey. 👑

To everyone who came out to support me during my capstone presentation, thank you. Seeing people there who genuinely wanted to hear what I had to say meant a lot to me.

R.I.S.E. UP. may be finished, but the work I started isn’t.

I want to keep learning, keep speaking up, and keep finding ways to use my voice and my talents to make an impact.

Still reminiscing on an unforgettable Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

They told us to dream big.

So we did.

They told us to know our history.

So we learned it.

They told us to build a legacy.

So that’s what we’re doing.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our culture, honor those who came before us, and spend the day surrounded by family, community, and love.

The celebration may be over, but the mission continues.

Today is a special day for us.

We’re celebrating Juneteenth and we’re celebrating another year of life for Demi God AJ.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is worth celebrating, protecting, and building upon. The people who came before us sacrificed so much so that future generations could dream bigger, go farther, and create new opportunities.

That’s why we wear the Pan-African colors with pride. They represent our history, our strength, and our future.

Today we’re thankful for family, faith, music, community, and every person who has supported our journey.

To everyone who has watched us perform, encouraged us, shared our music, or believed in us thank you.

It’s always good seeing Mayor Skip Henderson and connecting with people throughout the Columbus community.

This weekend we had the opportunity to perform at the 13th Annual Columbus Georgia LGBTQ Pride Festival, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and represent Family Wealth Moguls on stage.

We believe every performance is a chance to learn something new, grow as artists, and build positive relationships with our community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, took photos with us, cheered us on, and supported our music.

We’re grateful for the experience and excited for what’s next.
