The current issue focuses on topics that are of special importance for agency owners. Client Wrap Up: Brown Lucas Consulting (BLC) recently partnered with Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF) to help the organization publicize its cost-free Broward Tax Pro/VITA program. Due to COVID-19, HUF closed 17 of its in-person Broward Tax Pro/VITA sites, and in May launched a completely virtual version of the program. In addition to the online platform, HUF set up a telephone hotline to answer questions about stimulus checks and frequently asked tax questions. By making this service available via other platforms, HUF was able to provide the same level of service as in previous years.
