This challenging project is a mural for a small rural Catholic Church in Quincy, FL with a predominately Salvadoran congregation. It honors Oscar Romero, a populist Salvadoran archbishop who was martyred and canonized. It is 10'x13' and will be printed on 12x12 porcelain tiles. I studied Central American folk art to get the feel for the simple, colorful style. It will be installed in an outdoor pavilion where church social events take place.
