If you recently got approved for TikTok Shop, here are 3 rules you need to know to protect your account:

1️⃣ Don’t mention prices unless they are 100% accurate (to the cent). Sales change all the time, so if a price changes while your video is live, you can get a violation for price inaccuracy. Avoid saying things like “it used to be $120, now it’s $80.”

2️⃣ Be extra careful when showing body parts/products on yourself. Even if you’re showcasing items like bras and everything is covered, slight movement or close-ups can still trigger automated violation flags.

3️⃣ Do product research before creating content. Don’t make 5–10 videos for a product just because you happen to have it. Check if it’s actually selling, if other creators are succeeding with it, and if it’s GMV-maxed or a recognizable brand.

I wanted to leave the traditional career path because I knew I would be miserable spending my life doing something just because it was considered stable.

I wanted to build my own business, make good money, travel, live somewhere I love, have a beautiful home, dress up, go to dinner with my friends, read books, have hobbies, and travel.
