Our Thrive Tribe

Our Thrive Tribe We’re a team of dedicated locals who want to grow with businesses and brands that we believe in, as if they were our own. At Our Thrive Tribe, we are different.

In the digital world, social media plays such a pivotal role in helping small businesses grow. So much so, that many small businesses can get away without having costly websites or huge sales teams. We know, because we’ve helped make it happen. We are women owned and veteran operated company. We are sassy and outgoing. And we are everything you’ve been looking for! We believe that you can’t start

a true relationship with someone by hiding who you truly are, so we are proud to be ourselves every day. We are comfortable in our own skin, and can translate that confidence through your own brand.

What Does Brand Awareness Actually Mean in the DSO Space?

Brand awareness gets talked about constantly, but rarely defined.
It’s often treated like a buzzword or dismissed because it doesn’t show up as an immediate sale. In reality, brand awareness is what creates the conditions for ROI to happen later.

In the DSO space, brand awareness looks like:
• Being recognized before an introduction is ever made
• Being remembered after a conference ends
• Being associated with a specific problem, solution, or category
• Being brought up in conversations without being in the room
• Being trusted before a buying decision exists

It’s similar to culture; everyone says it matters, but few can clearly articulate what it looks like when it’s working.

Brand awareness is not about going viral.

It’s about becoming top of mind with the right people over time.

When brand awareness is strong, ROI feels inevitable instead of forced.

There’s a version of leadership that looks loud.

And there’s a version that looks disciplined.

Emily Ryba embodies the second.

One of the things that really stands out about Emily to our Founder (aside from the fact that her daughter LOVES unicorns) was at last year’s Association of Dental Support Organizations meeting, she was seated at a table with her laptop open, operators gathered around, asking questions, listening closely.

She didn't demand attention. She earned it.

What makes Emily distinct isn’t just what she builds professionally.

It’s how she builds her life.

She’s clear about her boundaries:
• No work between 7–8 AM
• No work between 4:30–7:30 PM

Those hours belong to her family.

In an industry where speed is constant and availability can feel endless, that kind of structure is intentional leadership.

She often says being a mom is harder than being a business owner, and it’s shaped how she leads.

Motherhood sharpened her ability to:
• Communicate across personalities
• Adapt her management style
• Delegate with clarity
• Develop patience

Her daughter loves unicorns.
She bought the unicorn LEGO set.
She took her kids to Disney.

And she still shows up fully in executive rooms.

That’s not “balance.”

That’s alignment.

For Women’s History Month, we’re recognizing leaders like Emily, women who operate at a high level, protect what matters most, and redefine strength in the DSO space.

Not loud.
Not performative.

Just intentional. 🦄✨

In a dental industry full of metrics, Brandi brings meaning. ✨

Where many conversations revolve around growth charts, margins, and KPIs, Brandi Marzolino consistently brings the human element back to the forefront.
Through her podcast and leadership conversations, she creates space for depth, not just tactics.

She leads with:
• Curiosity over ego
• Story over shortcuts
• Values over vanity metrics
• Clarity over noise

In a DSO-driven space that can easily default to numbers, Brandi reminds leaders that voice matters. Identity matters. Evolution matters.

She asks better questions.
She invites honesty.
She makes growth feel aligned, not performative.

One of the many things we admire about Brandi is her willingness to be vulnerable and transparent.

Because in dentistry, relationships drive momentum, and the leaders who understand their voice build brands that last.

Strategy will always matter.

But meaning? That’s what moves people. 🦷✨

Double the birthdays. Double the sparkle. 🦄✨

Today, we’re celebrating two incredible humans who make OTT stronger every single day, Marissa and Mia.

Marissa brings the voice.
The storytelling.
The clarity that turns “ideas” into messages people actually feel.

Mia brings the momentum.
The strategy.
The consistency that keeps our clients visible, connected, and moving forward.

Different strengths. Same heart. Same commitment to showing up for our clients and each other every single day.

OTT wouldn’t be OTT without these two. The captions, the conversations, the late-night ideas, the laughs, and yes… the occasional “wait, did we already post that?” moment. 😅

Join us in wishing Marissa + Mia the happiest birthday.
We are so grateful for who you are and the undeniable energy you bring. 💛✨

Birthday twins. Built-in celebration. Let’s goooo! 🎉🦄

If you think strong leadership has to be loud, you haven’t met McKenzie Fagan. ✨

There’s a calm confidence about her. Not loud. Not performative. Just grounded.

In a space as fast moving and relationship driven as dentistry and DSOs, that steadiness matters.

McKenzie leads with:
• Clear communication
• High standards
• Strategic thinking
• And a quiet kind of strength that makes teams feel safe to execute

She doesn’t chase attention.
She builds alignment.
And in this industry? That’s powerful.

What stands out most is how she balances operational excellence with emotional intelligence. She understands that results don’t come from pressure alone, they come from clarity, buy in, and trust
The dental space needs more leaders who:
✨ Think long-term
✨ Value relationships
✨ Move with intention
✨ And build teams that actually want to follow them

McKenzie represents that next wave of leadership in dentistry, strategic, thoughtful, and deeply relational
And we’re here for it. 🦷🦄

You don’t really understand conference season by watching stories from your desk.

You understand it when you’re on the floor. ✨

At Inner Circle, Mia Upshaw stepped fully into the mix for the first time and the perspective shift was immediate.

If you’ve worked with OTT, you’ve likely worked with her.🦄

Mia is part of the strategic core of our team, the one thinking through positioning, messaging, timing, and how our clients show up in the market. She’s steady, intentional, and deeply invested in the people she supports.

From the outside, conference season looks like:
• Name badges
• Booths
• Keynotes
• Happy hours

From the inside?

CEOs moving between private rooms.
COOs juggling five conversations at once.
Founders being pulled in every direction.
Clients trying to build relationships, close deals, and “grab content” in the same 12-hour window.

Her biggest takeaway?

It’s nearly impossible to build strategic relationships, run meaningful meetings, and capture intentional content all at the same time.

That’s where preparation changes everything.

At events like Inner Circle, momentum is not accidental.

It’s built through:
• Intentional introductions
• Clear positioning
• Knowing who needs to meet whom
• Understanding the rhythm of the room

More often than not, Sarah is the one walking these floors.

But when another member of our team steps into the room, it reflects something bigger:

We don’t just manage LinkedIn pages.

We understand the rooms our clients are walking into.

Because in dentistry, and especially in the DSO space, relationships are the currency.

And preparation determines whether you leave with visibility…
or with momentum. 🦄✨

You can learn a lot about a leader by the banana bread she brings to a conference. 🍌✨

Some leaders bring strategy.
Some leaders bring warmth.
Bonnie Thompson brings both… and banana bread. 🍌✨

At CareStack, she showed up with homemade banana bread, like it was completely normal to casually outdo hotel catering. And now? Conference expectations have officially been raised.

But here’s the thing.
Her baking is intentional.

For Bonnie, baking is her love language. She makes what she knows her people love. She pays attention. She cares. She shows up prepared.

And that same energy shows up in how she leads.

Her LinkedIn leadership series? Thoughtful.
Her perspective? Grounded and clear.
Her DMs? Hype-woman energy for her team and everyone around her.

She once said she didn’t even fully know what we did, but she loved the energy and wanted to work together anyway. That’s the power of relational leadership. She understands connection first, tactics second.

Sweet. Strategic. And a true leader in the dental space. 🦄

Bonnie reminds us that leadership doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. Sometimes it looks like clarity, consistency, and a perfectly wrapped loaf of banana bread.
And yes, Bonnie… we will now expect more of your treats at future conferences. 💛

POV: You think “social media management” means posting and logging off. 🦄✨

Meanwhile… it’s 7:12am and someone’s already answering a client Slack.

Welcome to a Day in the Life of a Unicorn at Our Thrive Tribe.

Here’s what the magic actually looks like:
🖥️ Brittany — mapping strategy, tightening messaging, making sure every post ties back to revenue (because vibes don’t pay invoices).
🌍 Craig — thinking three moves ahead, voice-noting brilliance from another country, and turning big ideas into clear positioning.
🎙️ Marissa — refining storytelling, hosting podcast, and making sure “authentic” still converts.
📈 Mia — tracking engagement, optimizing content, and keeping momentum alive behind the scenes so visibility compounds.

What you see: a post goes live.

What you don’t see:
• Strategy calls
• DM follow-ups
• Lead tracking
• Caption rewrites
• Industry research
• Voice alignment
• Outward engagement
• Analytics review

Being a unicorn in the dental + DSO space isn’t just about creativity.
It’s about clarity, consistency, and caring enough to do the unglamorous work well.

This is the rhythm behind the results.
And yes… we love every minute of it. 🫶✨

To the women leading practices.
Building DSOs.
Running operations.
Driving marketing.
Closing partnerships.
Managing teams.
Raising families.
Reinventing themselves.

It's International Women's Day! 💛✨

The dental and DSO space is stronger because of you.

We see the founders who built something from nothing.
The operators who hold everything together behind the scenes.
The sales leaders navigating rooms that weren’t always designed for them.
The clinicians evolving into CEOs.
The team members finding their voice online for the first time.

This industry is relational.
And women are shaping how those relationships are built with clarity, empathy, strategy, and strength.

Here’s to:
✨ Owning your expertise
✨ Taking up space at the table
✨ Building brands without shrinking
✨ Leading without apology
✨ Choosing clarity over perfection

The future of dentistry isn’t just innovative.
It’s inclusive.

And we’re grateful to build alongside so many powerful women in this space. 🦷🦄💫

March is Women’s History Month. 🦷✨

In dentistry, leadership doesn’t always look the way people expect.

It looks like operators building scalable systems.
Founders rewriting playbooks.
Executives shaping the future of DSOs.
Strategists are moving markets quietly, but powerfully.

This month, we’re highlighting four women who are not just participating in the dental space…

They’re leading it.

And not because of a title.
Not because of visibility.
But because of the impact.

Each week, we’ll feature one woman whose work is shaping how this industry grows, operates, and evolves.

Because leadership in dentistry isn’t emerging.

It’s already here.

And it’s female. 🦄✨

03/03/2026

That feeling when a lead comes through… and you know exactly why it happened.

Because the brand was clear.
Because the right people were paying attention.
Because the groundwork was already done.

We love this part. ✨
