Are you struggling with no-shows on consultations? Do prospects send you a message from your website but then never respond when you reach out to schedule an appointment?
The root of this problem is the contact page on your website.
We are all very familiar with the basic contact forms on websites - the ones that ask for your name and email with a box to type out a message.
Those forms do not work...
Here's why:
You are forcing your prospect to go cold by requiring them to send you a message with no instant feedback. They do not know when they will hear back from you with an appointment email. By the time you reach out, they are no longer interested or found another firm that could schedule with them quicker. If you are lucky, they might still be interested, but now you have to go through multiple emails to set a consultation appointment.
So how do you fix the problem?
Simple... Use an automated appointment scheduling software.
Appointment scheduling software like Calendly and Acuity are incredibly useful because they allow the user to book an appointment immediately at a time that is convenient to them and to you!
By integrating the software directly on your site, users can schedule a consultation without having to feel the pressure of calling or emailing you, or worse, having to send you a message through a website form that says "thanks, we will reach out as soon as possible".
The software can even link to other calendars that you may use to make sure they show users only the times when you are available. They also make it very easy to set up your availability and customize the information prospects have to fill out.
You can still include the basic contact message form on your website, however, it should be used only as an added bonus to the software.
Appointment scheduling software is a no-brainer. Stop wasting your time and energy setting up appointments over email and stop losing warm prospects to an old contact page.
Remember, you want to reduce the steps a prospect has to take from interest to purchase.
