TELL Public Relations TELL PR helps you get more "shine" with media and speaking opportunities that elevate your voice.

Here’s what you’re seeing in this video:

TELL typically consults with and strategizes for women who are looking to be known as THE authority in their industries, showing them SPECIFIC tactics to implement over a certain period of time to be highly visible (and respected).

But here’s the thing:

Whenever clients wanted to add video and content creation to create visuals for the brand we were helping them to build, we referred them to other agencies.

Until now.

WE NOW OFFER CONTENT CREATION AND VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES as a part of our commitment to help women BUILD REAL AUTHORITY.

And here’s how we’re going to do it:

By inviting Shaniya Clarke () to join TELL Public Relations as our Creative Director.

It’s about to get real.

Shaniya’s eye for capturing, sequencing, and editing video helps to convey women as they’d like to be seen:

Strong.
Knowledgeable.
Funny.
Experienced.

She’s building the storyboard, giving direction, and telling stories that get noticed.

And once women are armed with both compelling visuals AND a publicity plan?

They’ll be unstoppable.

Two years ago, we coordinated the entire ten-city book tour for “Fighting for our Friendships” (released May 2024).

Many authors want to host a tour for their book launch, but are unaware of all the moving pieces required to make it a success.

Planning a book tour often starts one year in advance and requires:

• Multiple venues
• Qualified and engaging conversation partners in each city
• An exciting marketing strategy to get people to actually attend
• Promotional graphics
• A plan for capturing content in each city to leverage for authority-building
• The artful coordination of many moving parts

The “Fighting for our Friendships” book tour was a success with five of the ten cities selling out! 💅🏾

And it wasn’t possible without our venue partners and co-hosts:

THREE REASONS YOUR LAST INFLUENCER CAMPAIGN FLOPPED

1. You didn't offer helpful talking points. Which features of your product or service do you want them to highlight? What's the call to action?

2. You forgot to define what "success" will look like. Do you want more web traffic? Ticket sales? Increased followers? You must articulate this upfront in order to know if the influencer you hired did a a "good job".

3. You obsessed over her follower count instead of her engagement. Use a tool like inbeat.co to calculate her ACTUAL audience engagement, because if she has 20k followers with an average of only 88 likes per post, something's off.

Influencer collaborations is only one of SEVEN things we cover in our private "Vision Sessions". Book yours NOW by visiting www.tellpublicrelations.com.

To them, it just doesn't make sense.

When we chat with other publicists about being an education-based agency, they do a double-take.

"But if you teach women how to get publicity for themselves, doesn't that.... make you irrelevant?"

Nope.

It makes us more relevant than ever.

Female business owners are doing some amazing things, but not enough people know about it.

That's where we come in.

When we're not representing TELL clients, we host workshops to teach women how they can get more attention for what they do.

Why?

Because we believe PR pros shouldn't have a monopoly on the knowledge that can make or break a lot of businesses.

So if you're looking for a little guidance with increasing your visibility, book a session or buy our e-book ( link in bio), because one way or another, we're gonna help you get the shine you deserve.

"The picture's ALL over the internet."

We recently received a frantic call from a small business owner who is experiencing the ugly side of social media. TELL jumped into crisis mode and shared first steps toward calming the fire.

Hear us clearly: IF YOU THINK YOU DON'T NEED A CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT A LARGE COMPANY, YOU'RE WRONG, SISTER.

If a sticky situation hits before you have time to make a formal crisis strategy, here are 5 tips for getting through it:

1. MURPHY'S LAW: Assume whatever can go wrong will go wrong. If you prepare for the worst, then you'll be able to handle anything.

2. LOOP IN THE BEST: It may be tempting to involve tons of friends, family, and colleagues into your situation. But involving lots of opinions makes things messy (and is hard to manage if they go public). Identify 1-2 people you trust to serve as your sounding board.

3. BE A (CHIRPY) EARLY BIRD. Nip. it. in. the. bud. The longer you wait to address negative attention, the more likely people are to insert their speculations to fill the gaps. Be quick and clear in your response from the beginning.

4. CHOOSE ONE STAGE. It's tempting to go back and forth with people on social, write a press release, post on Facebook... but you should be communicating in a central space where all stakeholders can get the information straight from the source. Use the other platforms to direct people to the central stage to maintain clarity and train people where to get the right information.

5. AVOID BLAME and END WITH ACTION: It may be tempting to make excuses or to blame others, but it's never a good look. Explain what you know, when you learned it, who's involved, and what you're doing to handle the situation.

If you find yourself in a crisis and need a little back-up, follow these steps (or give us a call) and you'll come out on top.

THREE REASONS WHY THIS ALL-WOMEN TEAM IS A WIN FOR AMERICA 🔥🔥🔥

Here's how the country will benefit from having women leading the White House’s communication efforts:

1. Men tend to have “report talk”, meaning they exchange facts and information, while women have “rapport talk”, meaning they build relationships while solving problems. That’s kind of important when you’re communicating with an entire nation.

2. Women leaders tend to prioritize making sure everyone’s voice is heard when making a decision, and that will be critical in leading a country as diverse as the United States.

3. Women are perceived as being more empathetic when dealing with hard things, a quality that will be critical when addressing the nation during a pandemic, times of racial injustice, and economic strain.

So, having an all-women team for the WH communications squad?

It’s right on time.
