Fun, creative, casual, and dynamic is how we like to describe the office here at MyCitySocial. MyCity Social is a company that prides itself on learning, growing, and nurturing relationships with local business owners who really don't have the time or understand how to make digital marketing success for their business. We have an SEO and Web Design team as well as a Digital Marketing team. As a Social Media intern you will do the following things:
• Creating social media content
• Monitor and post on social media channels, blogs, etc.
• Learn how to optimize and run Google My Business accounts
• Online outreach and promotion using social media platforms
• Creating E-mail newsletters
• Branding and rebranding
• Industry Research
• Interest in writing and SEO is a major plus - If interested, you will assist us with keyword research and meta descriptions
Assisting with miscellaneous administrative tasks
Qualifications
Must be an active student/recent grad from an accredited university who is majoring in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Advertising. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knowledge of digital marketing. Applicants should be creative, forward-thinking, have excellent time management skills, and be eager to learn about this exciting industry. Again, an interest in writing and SEO is a plus.
