Our Story
Negative Image Entertainment Group was founded in 1995 by Shawn Chain as a way to release his own music without the hassle of major labels interference. Through the years, N.I.E.G. evolved from a simple independent record label to an all encompassing company that features photography, graphic design, management, booking, film and merchandising. After taking a break through 2016, Shawn (Chain) decided to revive the business and begin taking on new clients and offer help to many emerging artists. Focusing more on development of artists, the label will also still feature many of the same services as before. N.I.E.G. believes in helping the little guy. In a world where very few labels are left for emerging artists to call home and being dominated by the few major labels/booking agencies out there, you can rest assured knowing that someone is looking out for you.
