A guest usually decides about your church in the first fifteen minutes, not during your sermon.
Start on time. It is the first promise you keep, and it costs nothing.
Drop the insider language in announcements and song intros so a first-time guest can follow along.
Smooth the transitions between songs and the message, because awkward silence is where energy leaks out.
