Nobody's first $5k comes from better footage.

When we started we had no clients, no audience, and no idea what we were doing. If we had to build it all again from zero, this is exactly what we'd do first. In this order.

Most videographers stuck under $5k can already film. What they're missing is a system behind it. So you lock in who you're talking to. You get in every room you can. You build proof with free work. You learn to actually sell. And you protect your energy from the people who don't get it.

None of it is complicated. Most people just won't do it.

If you're a videographer, still struggling to cross $5k months, it's probably not a talent problem.

Most likely, it's a positioning/systems problem.

If you have no idea who your next client is, or could potentially be, that's most likely where you're struggling most.

Good news is, the fix is NOT impossible.

I’d see my friends always “ahead of me”.

I’d constantly compare myself to their achievements.

Until I realized, I had nothing in common with their goals.

We both struggled with this. Until we realized.

Success is relative. And so is happiness.

Do what you love, and don’t let ANYBODY tell you otherwise.
