In the heart of Vouliagmeni, beneath the beauty of Panagia Faneromeni, we witnessed a love story become a sacred covenant before God. ☦️
A traditional Greek Orthodox wedding is more than a ceremony it’s a journey rich with centuries of faith and symbolism. The crowns placed upon their heads reminded us that marriage is a shared calling of love and sacrifice. Their hands, joined together, symbolized a lifetime of unity. As they took their first steps around the altar together, they began their walk through life as husband and wife, with Christ at the center of every step.
There was something so powerful about standing in that church, surrounded by family, tradition, and generations of love. It was reverent, emotional, and filled with a quiet joy that words can hardly capture.
