I haven’t been very active on social lately, and I don’t usually share work updates, but this Today Show segment feels different. It’s truly a highlight of my career, and one of the largest media opportunities I’ve ever secured. And after 26 years in public relations, I can honestly say this is one of the most meaningful interviews and projects I’ve worked on. This film, Grandma Stand offers the kind of inspiration we all need right now, and with May being Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a powerful reminder of how much simple, honest conversation can impact someone’s well-being.
Last week, my neighbor across the street...someone I spoke with regularly...took his own life. It’s been weighing on me, especially thinking I could have checked in more. Please take a moment to reach out to the people in your life. You never really know what someone may be carrying.
You can watch the film on PBS stations across the country and streaming on PBS starting in May. https://www.pbs.org/show/grandma-stand/
