The Tarkio Avalanche Screen Printing & Signs business has been sold to Lori and Mark Staten. If you would like to purchase shirts, have embroidery, vinyl or screen printing done, or would like to order banners and signs, or vinyl for vehicles, please contact Hoot & Holler through their page or call 660-744-3479. The Avalanche at 6th and Main is now closed. Hoot & Holler is located on the top floor of the Curnutt Center on the Tarkio Tech campus in Tarkio.

If you would like to advertise in the Atchison County Mail newspaper or publish an article, please contact them through the Atchison County Mail page, email [email protected], call 660-744-6245, or stop by the offices at 300 S. Main in Rock Port or 420 Main (the Oswald Crow Insurance building) in Tarkio.

Make plans to attend the Tarkio Rodeo and events this weekend. There is fun for everyone! Don't forget that the Atchison County Mail in Rock Port and Avalanche in Tarkio are selling advance tickets for the rodeo ($12 adults, $8 for children 5-12), but you only have until 5 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) to get them. Otherwise, you pay full price at the gate ($15 adults, $10 for children 5-12).
