We get asked a lot how lenticular images actually work.
Here’s a simplified diagram showing how a single lenticule directs light to different parts of an interlaced image.

Each of those curved ridges (lenticules) acts like a tiny lens, bending light so different parts of the image are visible from different angles. That’s what makes the image flip as you move.

3DReactions lenticular frames are specially designed frames that attach to the side of our lenticulars. All of the lenticular frames that you see on our website are designed by 3DReactions specifically made to our lenticulars. We have created numerous themed lenticular holders that either hold on one side for smaller lenticulars, up to 5×7. For our larger sizes you can bookend your new lenticular picture with 2 frames like our bunny frame in this image.

Each Lenticular frame holder has been designed by 3DReactions and 3D printed using PETG filament and are made to last. They make a great desk or mantel piece. Some our frames are also painted to enhance the design while others like our Angel Wings frame are printed using a special marble material.

Our themed frames run the gamit from adorable Easter bunny frames to our ever popular Angel Wings frame. You can find our full compliment of lenticular frames on our Lenticular Frames with Lenticular page.

If your not looking for a lenticular page, no worries. Simply order without a lenticular and send us the picture that you would like attached. We will print your picture and add a clear plastic sheet over top to finish your frame.
