We get asked a lot how lenticular images actually work.
Here’s a simplified diagram showing how a single lenticule directs light to different parts of an interlaced image.
Each of those curved ridges (lenticules) acts like a tiny lens, bending light so different parts of the image are visible from different angles. That’s what makes the image flip as you move.
