"I've been in the fishing business for years, running a 36' Contender with triple Mercury Verado 350s. On a typical day, my cruise was 37 mph at 4500 rpm, and I was burning about 0.78 to 0.8 mpg with a full charter load.

When the pandemic hit and I was waiting for my new engines, I got a chance to test out the CG 35 M-Series with twin Yamaha 300s. I was absolutely blown away by the performance. My cruise speed jumped to 44 mph at 4500 rpm, and my fuel efficiency skyrocketed to 1.5 to 1.6 mpg. That’s more than double the fuel efficiency I was getting on the Contender!
