This October feels a little different at BrandStand.
For those who don’t know, earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I tried to keep my cancer journey separate from BrandStand for as long as I could… and then my hair fell out. At that point, there wasn’t much hiding it. Many of our customers knew what I was going through, so many checked in on me (thank you!). Through all of it, the BrandStand team kept things moving even on the days I couldn’t be here. They gave me the ability to step away when I had to and focus on getting through treatment. I will forever be grateful for the love and support.
This year brought surgery, chemo, some really hard days, and more pink than I expected to own. Today, I’m so grateful to be on the other side of chemo.
October is here and the shop is covered in pink, it’s not just another collection to me.
Strong-ish became a pretty true of many days.
Faith Over Fear became more than words.
Survivor became a word I get to wear.
And supporting the women walking through this, whether they’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, finished with treatment, or years beyond it means more to me than it ever has.
So for the entire month of October, come shop pink at BrandStand. We have Breast Cancer Awareness tees, crews, hoodies and more available in the store.
This October, pink is a little more personal around here.
