We had a great time yesterday with our friends at the Texas Cotton Gin Texas Cotton Gin Museum getting the historic gin prepped for the upcoming Burton Cotton Gin Festival on April 23.

Taylor Compress is currently accepting applications for seasonal warehouse help in multiple positions and shifts. Shifts are flexible to times and days of the week. Overtime paid after 40 hours and pay is based on position and experience. Apply in person at 217 S. Main, Taylor at Taylor Compress Monday through Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Warehouse Associate (Forklift/Machine Operator)
· Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and trailers
· Utilize database system to track materials placed and removed from storage
· Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
· Use a mobile computer and barcode scanner to locate inventory in a warehouse
· Follow established safety rules and regulations
· Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts
· General warehouse duties such as: sweeping, picking up trash, wrapping pallets, stocking, cleaning, sweeping, picking up trash, etc.
· Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
· Team-oriented and self-directed
· Must be 18 or older.

If you receive a package of seeds from an unknown source do not plant them! Report them to USDA-APHIS and follow their instructions on how to dispose of them. It is currently unknown what these seeds are and they could pose great risk if they are an invasive species.

Happy Earth Day! U.S Cotton Producers work over the past thirty years has proven to provide a sustainable fiber that has had a lower impact on the environment we all work and live in today. Texas Cotton Growers Cooperative Association has had an active role in receiving, storing, and shipping U.S Cotton from Central Texas to textile mills all over the world!
