Texas Roadhouse, a Louisville based brand, has been coming back to motorsports here recently! They teamed up with the Abel Motorsports for the Indy 500 and Landon Huffman on the CARS Tour.

This had me thinking, why stop on asphalt? I think it'd be pretty cool to have a Kentucky based driver that's on the rise with a Kentucky based brand making some starts with High Limit Racing and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series don't you? There isn’t a fan base in sports that fits the Texas Roadhouse vibe better than dirt track racing fans!

I had a little bit of free time so I came up with a fun little concept. What do you say we make it happen??

After the cancellation of the Cowboy Classic at Beckley, we made the trip to Lincoln Park Speedway. There were a total of 144 cars in the pit area which was pretty impressive. I qualified 2nd in my group and 4th overall. I was able to get the lead off of 2 in the heat race after starting 2nd and ran 8, scary fast laps around the famous Putnamville cushion. I redrew the 2 for the feature but didn't get as good of a start and ran 2nd. Nobody really made any moves in the top 3 or 4 and that's where I finished.

Overall, it was a very solid night and I put yet another podium on the board for this year. After 11 races I've been on the podium 7 times and we are just starting to get the car figured out. I've tried more bar packages this year already than I have my whole career. Lots of learning! Looking forward to the next race!
