On May 9, 2026, the Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane, WV, will host a special trail event honoring a true local hero, Cpl. William B. Fulks. 👨‍✈️

This event is more than a race. It’s a tribute.

Cpl. Fulks served with the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, and was wounded in combat on May 11, 2006, in Anbar Province, Iraq. He bravely fought for our country and passed on May 18, 2006. His legacy continues to live on through this meaningful event. ✨

Proceeds support a scholarship fund in his honor and help the local Marine Corps League Detachment continue serving veterans in our community.

☀️ Summer Kids Strength & Conditioning is Back! 💪

Sign-ups are OPEN NOW for our Summer Kids Strength & Conditioning Classes at Faith in Motion Performance Therapy, and classes will begin the week of June 7th!

MW Mornings at 8:30 and 9:30 AM **𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁**
T/TH evenings 4:30 and 5:30 PM

These programs are designed to help young athletes build strength, improve speed and agility, reduce injury risk, and gain confidence heading into their upcoming sports seasons.

To make sure every athlete gets proper coaching and attention, each class will be capped at just 12 kids.

We’ll have two age divisions:
🏃 3rd–6th Grade Athletes
🏋️ 7th–12th Grade Athletes

These are our most popular classes of the entire year and they sell out every summer, so we highly recommend signing up early to secure your spot!
