This is the finale of our 3-part Pipeline Problem series.

We worked with a 4-person CPA firm. Great reputation, loyal client base, zero online presence. Website 5 years old. Four Google reviews.

We rebuilt their entire pipeline system in 6 weeks.

90 days later: 3 new recurring clients every month. GBP calls tripled. Website inquiries went from 1 to 7 per month.

It wasn't a marketing failure. It was a structure failure.

Once the structure was in place, everything else followed.

This is Part 2 of this week's series on building a client pipeline for accounting firms.

The system has three components. Most firms only have one.

Layer 1 β€” Visibility: Google presence, content, local SEO. Being findable, not famous.

Layer 2 β€” Trust: Website, reviews, case studies. Turning a search into a relationship.

Layer 3 β€” Action: Follow-up sequences, lead capture, booking flow. A real system β€” not a contact form and a prayer.

Tomorrow I'll show you what happened when we built all three for a CPA firm starting from scratch.

Which of these three layers do you feel is weakest for your firm right now?

Most accounting firms can't tell you where their next client is coming from.

And that's not because they're bad at their work. It's because they have a pipeline problem β€” not a marketing problem.

There's a real difference. A pipeline is a system. Lead generation is a tactic. One is sustainable. The other is exhausting.

This week I'm breaking down exactly how it works β€” in 3 parts.

Today: why most firms are stuck.
Wednesday: the exact system that fixes it.
Thursday: real results from a firm that rebuilt from scratch.

Google Ads weekly performance 🦷

This week's results for one of our dental clients:

βœ… Conversions up 75% β€” 7 new patient leads
βœ… Cost per conversion down 32% β€” from $112 to $75.99
βœ… Impressions up 42% β€” more patients seeing the practice
βœ… Clicks up 26% β€” more qualified traffic

The budget increased by 19%. But the cost per lead went DOWN 32%.

That's the difference between running ads and optimizing ads.
Most dental practices are spending money on Google β€” and losing it silently. Wrong keywords. Wrong structure. Traffic going to a homepage that doesn't convert.

When the system is built right, every dollar works harder. More visibility, more calls, lower cost per new patient.

If your dental practice is running Google Ads and not seeing numbers like this, you're donating to Google.

Comment DENTAL or send me a DMβ€”I'll tell you exactly where your budget is leaking. πŸ‘‡

This is one of my favorite client stories from the last year.

This tax firm came to us for a website. One partner, two part-time staff, great reputation, almost entirely referral-based. Growth had plateaued.

We built their ConvertSmart system: a new conversion-optimized website, local SEO, online booking, CRM automation, review generation β€” the full system.

Here's what happened over 12 months:

πŸ“… Month 3: First inbound leads from SEO traffic
πŸ“… Month 6: 22 new qualified clients β€” all inbound, all booked through the system
πŸ“… Month 9: At capacity and turning away work
πŸ“… Month 12: Two full-time staff hired, services expanded

They didn't change what they did. They changed how easy it was to find them, trust them, and book them.

That's the whole game.

If you're a tax firm or accounting practice that's great at what you do but feel invisible online β€” this is what we help you fix.

Something I notice with almost every accounting firm that comes to us for help:

They have traffic. Sometimes decent traffic. But the traffic isn't turning into new clients.

This is one of the most frustrating situations β€” because it feels like you're doing everything right. You're showing up online. People are visiting your site. You're active on social.

But the phone isn't ringing.

Here's what's usually missing:

The conversion piece. The system that takes someone who found you online and turns them into a booked appointment.

That system includes:
β†’ A homepage that answers "should I trust this firm?" immediately
β†’ An offer they can act on right now β€” not just a contact form
β†’ Automated follow-up that reaches out to every lead who didn't book right away

Traffic is the first step. Conversion is where the revenue lives.

If this sounds like what you're going through, drop a comment or DM us. No pressure, just a real conversation. πŸ‘‡

Quick thought for any accounting or tax firm owners:

If a total stranger landed on your website right now β€” someone who found you through Google and has never heard of you β€” what would convince them to trust you with their finances?

Most accounting websites aren't built for that person. They're built for people who already know the firm's reputation.

But most new clients in 2026 are coming from search, not referral.

The four things that build trust with a stranger online:
1. A specific, real client result with an actual number
2. A human face and honest story about why you do this work
3. Reviews that are specific β€” not just "great service!"
4. A low-stakes first step β€” a free call, not a form that goes nowhere

Your homepage should earn trust before anyone picks up the phone.

Does yours do that? What would you change if you rebuilt it tomorrow?
