Hello Z-Com clients and followers. I've been stuck in NYC during Hurricane Sandy and it's been, uh...pretty disruptive. I'm looking forward to getting operations back up and running but we're going to be a couple weeks behind. Sorry for the inconvenience! At least the office wasn't in Manhattan.

Attention clients: This just got reported a bit ago. I'm looking into whose sites got nailed. Our site did! :-( More news as I get it.

According to many customers, sites hosted by major web host and domain registrar GoDaddy are down. According to the official GoDaddy Twitter account the company is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it. Update: customers are complaining that GoDaddy hosted e-mail accounts are down as well....

As you've probably noticed, we've updated the Ahwatukee Commons website! We've made it as easy as possible for you to book medical appointments, boarding dates and request medication refills online -- and if you're not yet a client, you can become one online as well.

Well...Z-Com Creative has just moved its page over to the new "Timeline for Business" format. Looks great, but it totally transforms and up-ends all the tabs and apps we've built for our clients over the years. We won't be moving you to the new format until we've explored what exactly happens to your old apps, and how best to make use of the new format.

In the mean time, stop in and take a look! This is how your business page will ultimately be displayed, so let's get used to it.

The Avnet Tech Games page is live and awesome. This is currently our best-in-class for a big, sprawling web-based solution: user-generated content, many levels of administrative control, extensive back-end tools to manage a very, very complex live event.

"If you're not paying, you're the product." -- Probably rule #1 on the web these days. I don't know that anything will crack the entitlement nut -- this assumption that folks have when something free (like Facebook) doesn't deliver exactly what they want and how they want it -- but if my clients and friends could file this one away, I think it'd clarify how and why the online world works the way it does.

Google+: one more crazy social media thing to stay on top of. Potentially interesting, especially if they can smoothly integrate the whole thing into your "normal" web browsing experience. Feels less like an enclosed ecosystem, which is how I think Facebook feels. Anyway, dunno if you're interested but I can try to send an invite if you are.
