Our HP Indigo has seen it's final days here at Impression Makers. We are now running a Konika/Minolta Press and it is fabulous. The sharp details, the ability to program Spot and CMYK colors, along with the variable data and on board stitching is speeding up production. We stil have the two Heidelberg offset presses, and the Heidelberg Die Cutting Letterpresses. Come on by and check us out, and as always, call Wendy for quotes on your next project.

so what is a doctor blade? It's the squeege that removes the unused UV liquid off of the roller after a sheet of paper has passed through the system. Once the sheet with the wet UV travels down a conveyor belt, the Matte or Gloss UV passes under a lamp, and hardens, leaving a finish on the entire sheet. We recommend UV coating on projects that are going to be mailed, for covers of saddle stiched magazines, and for business cards. Call Wendy at 967-2180 for an updated Quote on our new press!
