What we learned about civic wayfinding from Lightning McQueen and Cars … 🚗🚗🚗

The Town of Radiator Springs was once a thriving stop along Route 66. When a new interstate diverted traffic from Radiator Springs, only Lightning McQueen could bring the visitors back.

A thoughtful, well-designed civic wayfinding program can do for your community what McQueen did for Radiator Springs.

- Motivate travelers to exit the interstate and spend time in town.
- Direct them to retail areas, public services, and points of interest.
- Help them back to the highway when their visit is complete.
