Where is Your Job in the Trend of ChatGPT Losing Its Position?
Strange, isn’t it? A $1 billion decline in the US stock market, with NVIDIA alone losing $600 billion. The new Chinese AI model DeepSeek is now reportedly faster and, according to some, more efficient than ChatGPT. However, ChatGPT still remains highly efficient.
Microsoft owns 49% of ChatGPT (according to various sources), and now the US government is getting involved as well, mainly due to DeepSeek being a Chinese company. The US is becoming more proactive in AI, especially following the rise of DeepSeek. If Donald Trump returns to power, he has announced a $500 billion investment in AI.
Even if DeepSeek manages to outperform ChatGPT, OpenAI will still hold its position as the second-best AI service provider globally. A few days ago, Mark Zuckerberg stated in an interview that by 2025, AI will replace mid-level software developers. Another tech giant, Google, is already advancing in AI-powered coding, which means that while some mid-level developers may retain their jobs, entry-level positions will become increasingly difficult to secure.
It is predicted that by 2030, jobs such as investment analysts, market research analysts, data entry professionals, and copywriters will be taken over by AI. Goldman Sachs reports that AI could put 300 million jobs at risk worldwide. As a result, average workers are running out of time in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
However, new job opportunities will also emerge. Previously, it was believed that only major tech companies could develop AI, but DeepSeek’s rise has shattered that notion. While AI will replace many jobs, it will also create new employment opportunities worldwide in the coming years. However, these new roles will be more specialized, requiring greater creativity and technical expertise.
To secure a job in the future, one must learn to work alongside AI. The job market will remain open to those skilled in AI model development and training. Adapting to change is the only way to survive in this evolving landscape.
