Now that 2023 is upon us, I've set a few goals for the year. Since 1997, I've been writing in HTML4 with some XHTML mixed in, sitting on a PHP framework (or whatever that is called). I've upgraded the networks with the introduction of Bootstrap3. This made the pages responsive to the growing cell phone market. This was sufficient for what I needed. I've learned a few things along the way. All is good. But being inspired by recent events, I've decided to update my techniques by upgrading to HTML5 and Bootstrap4 along with the implementation of MySQL across the networks so that the networks can be managed from a central location. This also means that I can roll out new sites and services with ease because the foundation and framework was already established. This is being done to move closer to my goal of being not dependent on outside services to market the sites to the world at large. The hope is that I can establish a platform that could help the network make more organic connections, not only with new leads but to each other. In the end, the members of the network win because we retain control of our message and our marketing.
