"The light ain't gettin' any greener." | This Father's Day, we're celebrating dads and the dad'isms that become an internal voice for so many of us.

As a company founded by a father-daughter team more than a decade ago, this holds especially true for ADELE.

"One of my favorite sayings my dad, Milton, has is... 'the light ain't gettin' any greener,'" said our CEO, Lauren Wootton. "I've certainly heard my dad say it at a number of stoplights, but that phrase really holds true in life as well. So many of us wait for the 'green light' in life. We're waiting for a sign or someone else's permission to move forward. We don't realize...the light's already green. I'm blessed to have started this company with my dad so many years ago, and it's because we drove forward together through that proverbial green light!"

Anyone who knows Milton knows he's not the type to wait around. He's always moving, always taking action, and always making decisions. It's one of the things that makes his leadership so valuable and working with him such a joy.

We hope you are enjoying a wonderful Father's Day, and hope Milton's saying inspires you to find your own green light!

DAD TAGLINES | If your dad were a brand, what would his tagline be?

At ADELE, we spend a lot of time helping brands, new and established, express who they truly are. The best brands know exactly what they stand for, and a great tagline encapsulates this. So, as Father's Day approached, our team naturally began thinking...if our dads were brands, what would their taglines be?

There is certainly a variety of dads out there. No matter which type you have, they have all taught us lessons we carry both personally and professionally. Which tagline sounds most like your dad? Or is there a dad tagline that we didn't list that's one of your favorites? We'd love to hear it!

To all the fathers, father figures, and male role models who helped shape who we are, Happy Father's Day!

THE POWER OF POSSIBILITY | Standing inside one of Florida's newest business schools, it is easy to be impressed by its size, structure, design, and beauty. But the true soul of the space, beyond the impressive students and dedicated faculty, is the extraordinary journey of the man whose name is on it.

Recently, our CSO, Valerie Wickboldt, had the privilege of touring the new Florida State University - Herbert Wertheim College of Business with Dean Michael Hartline and his team, alongside fellow members of The Economic Club of Florida Board of Trustees.

The college's namesake, Dr. Herbert Wertheim, embodies one of the great American success stories. Born into a working-class family and raised with limited means, he struggled in school, dropped out as a teenager, and faced challenges that could have easily defined the course of his life. Instead, he took control of his story.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Wertheim pursued his education, earned a degree in engineering, and went on to found Brain Power Incorporated, which would become the world's largest manufacturer of optical tints. Through hard work and innovation, he built a business empire and became one of the nation's most significant philanthropists.

His story is a real-life reminder that when people believe in the power of possibility, extraordinary things can happen. Wertheim's historic $65 million investment in Florida State University, the largest endowment gift in FSU history, is helping create those same opportunities for future generations of students who may be standing at the beginning of their own remarkable journeys.

Institutions shape economies. Education shapes leaders. And leaders like Herbert Wertheim remind us that success is multiplied when what we gain is shared with the causes we care about.

And today, his signature red hat and remarkable legacy are woven into the fabric of the college, inspiring students to imagine what might be possible when they look beyond their circumstances.

Thank you to Florida State University, Dr. Wertheim, Dean Hartline, and the Economic Club of Florida for an insightful and inspiring visit.

THE WEIGHT OF THE FLAG | This week at the Leadership Florida Annual Meeting, our Chief Strategy Officer, Valerie Wickboldt, and other leaders in the room had the privilege of witnessing a naturalization ceremony, the final step in the journey to American citizenship.

The ceremony began with the Presentation of the Colors. Young servicemen stood at attention as their uniforms and bearing were carefully inspected. Every detail mattered because the responsibility mattered even more.

A conference ballroom was transformed into a courtroom. Before hundreds of witnesses, dozens of individuals from around the world stood together to take the Oath of Allegiance and officially become Americans.

As part of the ceremony, the American flag was presented to the youngest and oldest of the new citizens. When the eldest gentleman received his, he paused for a moment, lifted it gently, and pressed it to his lips. It was a small gesture, but it carried the weight of a thousand words.

Many wiped away tears. It struck us that the weight of a flag is not measured in ounces. It is measured in what it represents to the person holding it and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend it.

For some, those freedoms are the blessing of inheritance. For others, they are pursued through years of waiting, sacrifice, perseverance, and hope.

Watching that gentleman's quiet display of gratitude offered a perspective many of us needed. In that moment, the flag was not held as a political symbol. It was cradled with care...a tangible reminder of the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that Americans hold so dear.

On this Flag Day, we're reflecting on the blessings we often take for granted and the enduring promise that continues to draw people from around the world to our shores, eager to pledge allegiance to the American flag and all it represents.

God bless America. 🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day. 🇺🇸

DISNEY DREAMING | This morning, while attending the Leadership Florida Annual Meeting at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, our Chief Strategy Officer, Valerie Wickboldt, found a quiet moment beside the resort's iconic fountain to work on a script and production plan for one of our clients.

It was a fitting place to do it.

The fountain sits beneath one of the resort's most striking architectural features, a grand rotunda inspired by Spanish, Mexican, and Southwestern design traditions. Throughout Coronado Springs, water serves as both a visual centerpiece and a storytelling device, creating moments of reflection, connection, and discovery.

Few organizations have shaped the art of storytelling as profoundly as Disney. Every detail, every experience, every touchpoint is intentionally designed to create connection, evoke emotion, and inspire dreams you never thought possible.

That philosophy resonates deeply with us at ADELE. In fact, our CEO and Founder, Lauren Wootton, had the unique opportunity to study under Disney Legend Ron Logan, whose influence helped shape her understanding of immersive storytelling, audience engagement, and the power of experience-driven communications and marketing.

Today, that influence remains a central part of our approach. Whether we're building a brand, producing a video, developing a campaign, or crafting messaging, every project benefits from our entertainment background -- and our clients benefit from the powerful results it produces.

We're truly fortunate to have brands trust us with their stories, and we're grateful today to have the privilege of outlining our next project, immersed in the scenes of the master storytellers at Disney.

BRAND VISIBILITY IN THE AGE OF AI | Every generation has had its own way of finding answers. From newspapers and neighbors to search engines and smartphones, technology has continually reshaped how we discover information and make decisions. Now, AI platforms are changing the rules again.

As consumers increasingly turn to platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity for answers, visibility is no longer just about being found. It's about being understood, trusted, referenced, and recommended.

In our latest blog, our CEO and founder, Lauren Wootton, explores the rise of AEO and GEO (with a mention of the OG SEO) and what organizations need to consider (for now) to remain visible in an AI-driven world.

WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE | Recently, we spent time capturing a business doing what it does best, and it reminded us of something we see time and time again: while every business is different, the formula for growth is remarkably consistent.

Know who you are. Do great work. Tell your story consistently.

The tools may change. The platforms may evolve. But the businesses that win are the ones that show up, build trust, and make sure the right people know who they are and why they matter.

We’re proud to work with organizations of every size, helping turn everyday work into stories worth sharing. We love being the “behind the scenes” of your stories of success!
