A 1400 pixel cover will bounce your whole release, and nobody warns you.
Some distributors quietly enforce a 1,500 pixel minimum on artwork. Apple wants 3000. Spotify takes almost anything but recompresses it, so fine detail smears no matter how clean your file was. And if you upscale a small cover to hit the number, that is the most common self-inflicted rejection there is.
I collected all of it in one free guide, every number from the platforms' own documentation: cover sizes, Spotify Canvas specs, Apple Motion Art's safe zones and its 45 Mbps floor. No signup, no catch:

My studio also produces all of it as a flat-price service if you would rather spend the time on music. Either way, check your cover size before your next submission. It is the two-minute check that saves a release.
Cover art, Spotify Canvas, Apple Motion Art and social share videos: what every streaming release needs and why. Produced for you, from $59.
