Something I've learned in this work is that a lot of people don't get funding simply because they don't know it exists 💡 I am here for you as a grant writer, but more importantly as a resource.

So here are a few places to start:
🔹 Grants.gov — federal grants open to nonprofits & businesses
🔹 SBIR.gov — funding for small businesses doing research & development
🔹 USDA Rural Development — grants for rural communities & organizations
🔹 Sam.gov — register here to compete for government contracts
🔹 Foundation Directory (Candid) — searchable database of foundation grants

But! Before you apply, make sure you have these basics ready:
📋 EIN (Employer Identification Number)
📋 Articles of Incorporation or Business Registration
📋 501(c)(3) determination letter (nonprofits)
📋 Current budget or financial statements
📋 A clear mission or business statement
📋 SAM.gov registration (for federal opportunities)
📋 A basic project or program description
