✨ A Little Re-Introduction — The Heart Behind Needles & Knots ✨
With so many new faces following my page and supporting my little business, I thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce myself and share a little about the person behind Needles & Knots. ❤️
Hi, I’m Cindy! My husband is Tim and together we have a beautiful blended family of three sons and one daughter. Our family has continued to grow, and we are incredibly blessed with 9 grandchildren and one more on the way! Being a wife, mom, and Nona will always be some of my greatest joys. ❤️
Before Needles & Knots ever became a reality, I spent 28 years working for the parish before retiring. But apparently, retirement wasn’t quite for me! 😂 In 2017, I began a whole new full-time career in the oil industry, where I continue to work today. But for as long as I can remember, there was always a dream tucked away in my heart — I wanted to own my own business. Eventually, I decided it was time to stop dreaming about it and just GO FOR IT! And if you know me, you know I apparently don’t know how to start small. 😂 I didn’t buy a little single-needle embroidery machine to “see how it went.” Nope! I jumped in FULL FORCE and purchased my first commercial 15-needle embroidery machine.
And off I went! 🧵🪡
That leap of faith became Needles & Knots. What started with one machine, a dream, and a whole lot of learning has grown into something I could have never imagined. Since then, I’ve been blessed to add a second embroidery machine, several heat presses, and a brand-new building right next to our home that gives Needles & Knots a space of its own.
And we’re not finished growing yet! 🤭
I have some EXCITING NEWS coming soon because a few new pieces of equipment will be making their way into the shop! I can’t wait to share what’s coming and all the new things I’ll be able to offer. ❤️
But none of this would be possible without the people who have supported me along the way.
First, my family. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging my crazy ideas, helping when I’m overwhelmed, and supporting this dream through every late night, busy weekend, new machine, new project, and “I have another idea!” 😂 I truly could not do this without you. And to every single customer who has trusted me with an order, shared my posts, recommended my business, encouraged me, been VERY patient with me, or simply cheered me on — THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
Every shirt, sweatshirt, embroidery order, school design, special gift, and custom creation that leaves my shop means more to me than you probably realize. When you support Needles & Knots, you aren’t just placing an order — you’re supporting a dream that I carried in my heart for years.
I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still dreaming. And apparently… I’m still buying equipment. 😂❤️
I’m so excited for this next chapter of Needles & Knots, and I’m incredibly thankful that all of you are along for the journey.
