My client just listed this amazing camper van “The Trailblazer” as a rental on Outdoorsy.com. Taking photos of tight spaces like this can be tricky even with a wide angle lens, but they turned out pretty good. The camper’s beauty really shines!

A properly designed kitchen can be beautiful and welcoming while also functional. Achieving a balance of color, texture, and lighting will make the heart of your home a refuge for relaxing!

A few design ideas:

-For adding some color into the space, maintain subtlety by choosing a focal point, like the counters or cabinets, for the primary dose of color. Stick to one main hue, then add small doses of complementary color via the backsplash or kitchen accessories.

-When designing the layout, the pathways through a kitchen should be at least 36 inches wide; paths within the cooking zone should be 42 inches wide for a one-cook kitchen and 48 inches for a two-cook configuration. Adjust kitchen islands and peninsulas accordingly, giving yourself adequate space to move about easily.

-Kitchen lighting is often sidelined as a secondary detail, but it should be a top design consideration. The intensity and style of your fixtures will heavily influence the atmosphere of your space. Consider multiple lighting options that can be adjusted. Brighter lights for cooking and soft lighting for hosting.

Gorgeous addition by an impressive builder! 🤩

These are from my recent photo shoot of an addition completed by Entheos Builders. A stone fire place as the living room focal point creates a cozy and welcoming feel. The second floor bedroom was designed to maximize the gorgeous views and natural light. Fantastic builder doing some great work!

Classic brass finishings are the latest trend for adding warmth and character to bathrooms and kitchens! My client continues to kill it with their custom residential construction and design in the Bay Area!😍

Classic brass! We love how brass has made a comeback in bathroom and kitchen design. These warm metallic tones give neutral-colored spaces some needed character! Brass finishes are now being offered in polished, brushed, and satin, while unlacquered options are growing in popularity. Unlacquered brass benefits from hands-on use, developing a nice patina appearance over time. All brass fixtures are the perfect combo of classic style, warmth, and character!
