Join them for a unique "Bike Date" on Friday, September 4 @ 5pm-6pm, co-hosted with KCP and featuring the artist Laura Curry. Her specialty is combining art with bike rides and bike maintenance - and discussing how to be a responsible and conscientious rider in today's world. Over at Tangent Theatre Company, we wrapped another winner this past weekend - a reading of the modern classic LOBBY HERO by Kenneth Lonergan, with these four beauties. With some select PR mentions, added media spotlights and solid promotional reach (including from our hosts, The Stissing Center for Arts and Culture) we saw two full houses, garnered new fans and presented a zinger of a play in an ideal speakeasy-style setting. It was a perfect blend of story + players + place.

It was an uplifting afternoon at the Inn at Bellefield in Hyde Park yesterday. Dozens of artists and creative makers were all smiles as Arts Mid-Hudson awarded their 2026 project grants. As a proud recipient of one (for our Tangent Theatre Company and a special reading on tap for the fall), we were especially touched by the outpouring of love and support for the arts, recognizing so many diverse talents.
