HONESTY HOUR❤️‍🔥🎥🎙️
turned one last week, which naturally caused a lot of reflection on how the last year of my life has been.
There are not enough talks about the weight business owners carry on their own. Keeping a space growing, especially if you house other business owners inside (booth rental stylists) and the growth of their career to a point relies on your space too.
This past year, I’ve experienced more burnout than ever, seen my brand attempt to be duplicated countless times, been burned and screwed over. The hours of long nights, early mornings, working weekends, and in case no one’s told you: owning a business means you work ALOT and the financial return is incredibly slow lol.
But throughout the crash outs, I had myself, my family, my clients, my space, and my stylists to continue to show up for. And I wouldn’t trade this past year for a thing. Finally in my career after years of feeling unfulfilled, I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
