Jeff has been a fixture in Hart’s Toledo office since 2021, racking up wins like Liberty HealthShare and building memories with his team along the way. Outside the office? When Ohio Lottery asked us to evolve its approach to responsible play, we began with research designed to understand how Ohioans actually think about play and responsibility.

What we found: people don’t need warnings; they need guidance.

So that’s what we built. WellPlayed Ohio™ is a responsible play platform with a warm, confident brand identity that deviates from the traditional fear-based approach. Bold typography. Relatable headlines. Creative that meets people with wit instead of worry, in places where play actually happens. Think gas stations, convenience stores, social media and digital spaces.

Not a one-time campaign, but a living platform designed to grow with Ohioans over time.

Because it's about reminding players that they're in control of the game, not the other way around.

Across three cities this awards season, Hart had plenty to celebrate at the ADDYs.

Between AAF Columbus, AAF Toledo and AAF DC, our teams brought home 20! awards – a reflection of the creativity, collaboration and craft that goes into the work we’re proud to put into the world.

None of it would be possible without the incredible clients who trust us as partners and give us the opportunity to do meaningful, impactful work. And of course, a huge congratulations to our teams whose talent, dedication and bold thinking continue to move our work forward.
