Melissa Cummings of Genesis Realtors spoke to our group this morning. She covered information about the upcoming first time home buyer grant program, HSP, where first time home buyers can get up to $15,000 to help them buy a home.

There’s also a program called the Home Owner Possibility Expansion grant (HOPE) that can be used for down payment assistance, but can also help cover needed repairs in order for the home to close. It does not need to be a first time homeowner. Both of these programs open in the month of March.
