Hawver News Company LLC hasn't posted on Facebook for a while: Vickie & Martin Hawver are figuring out the next chapter in Hawver News' life. As many of you know, we sold Hawver's Capitol Report--the news service that reports on Kansas government & politics--to State Affairs Inc. on Dec. 15, 2022 (note that we didn't sell Hawver News Company, which in recent years has focused on Hawver's Capitol Report but earlier also had other publications and projects). Interested in a free weekly newsletter about Kansas government & politics & other news? State Affairs Kansas, which now owns Hawver's Capitol Report, sends this newsletter out every Tuesday & it has a sign-up link. Fun section at the end is "What we're reading & watching" from State Affairs staffers. Martin Hawver & I sometimes share our current reading & viewing. Goal of course is for folks to eventually sign up for paid State Affairs Kansas subscriptions, but no obligation... and it's free.
