In the final days of his administration, Governor Phil Murphy signed landmark legislation expanding access to preventive behavioral health care for children. 🎉

GTB Partners was proud to support our clients, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and ZERO TO THREE, in advocating for critical early intervention services for New Jersey’s children and families. This new law requires Medicaid and commercial insurers to cover mental health services for children who are at risk or showing early signs of mental health challenges, before a formal diagnosis is required. New Jersey is the first state in the nation to take this important step.

We commend Governor Phil Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy, Senate President Nick Scutari, Senator Joseph Vitale, Assemblywoman Andrea Katz, Assemblywoman Linda S. Carter, Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie, the bill's cosponsors, and advocates across the state for advocating for policies that strengthen mental and behavioral health outcomes and protect access to care at a time when the need has never been greater.

This critical investment strengthens healthcare education and workforce development across New Jersey and directly supports FDU’s HealthPath Forward initiative.

This event recognizes women from across the Garden State for their tireless work to break barriers and open doors for the next generation of women leaders in politics and government. GTB's Casey Haddox, a Pam's List Board Member, had the honor of presenting an award to one of this year's incredible honorees.

The event also featured Congresswoman and Gubernatorial Candidate Mikie Sherrill as the keynote speaker. She delivered powerful remarks on the importance of strengthening pathways for women candidates and celebrated the achievements of women trailblazers across the state.

Yesterday, the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee advanced critical legislation to establish New Jersey's grid-scale energy storage program.

These projects will unlock long-term benefits for New Jerseyans by supporting a cleaner grid and helping stabilize energy costs.
