We have some massive news to share! The studio just got a major power boost. We officially added the xTool P2S 55W CO2 Laser to our equipment line-up at Geektress Goods Machine & Chainstitch Embroidery!
If you’ve been following our journey, you know we are obsessed with precision, clean lines, and vibrant textures. While our multi-needle embroidery and specialty chainstitch machines remain the beating heart of our shop, adding a high-precision CO2 laser opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities!
How the xTool P2S Levels Up Our Embroidery Workflow
Integrating a 55W CO2 laser isn't just about making laser crafts—it directly upgrades our core needle-and-thread services!
1. Ultra-Precise Custom Patches
Cutting patch borders by hand with shears takes time and leaves room for slight imperfections. The xTool P2S uses dual 16MP cameras to pinpoint exact cutlines down to fractions of a millimeter!
Sealed Edges: When cutting synthetic twill or felt patch backings, the laser beam instantly cauterizes the fabric edges. That means zero fraying!
Complex Shapes: We can now offer intricate, geometric, or contoured patch outlines that were nearly impossible to cut cleanly by hand.

From Living Room Hobby to the Heart of Geektress Goods 🏠✨

​They say necessity is the mother of invention, but for me, it was a mix of a global pandemic and a lifetime of watching my mom create magic out of nothing.

​Growing up, my mom’s hands were never still. Whether it was painting, sewing, or crafting, she showed me that creativity isn't just a talent—it’s a way of seeing the world. When the world slowed down in 2020, I found myself returning to those roots.

​What started as a way to stay busy during the lockdown quickly turned into a passion project, and then into Geektress Goods. 🛠️💜

​Today, I’m not just "making things"—I’m building a brand that celebrates that same spark of curiosity my mom sparked in me years ago. Turning a hobby into a business I love has been the wildest, most rewarding ride of my life.
