The CMHA Bereavement program was developed to provide compassionate support, practical tools, and community connection for individuals coping with the loss of a loved one. 🤝💙

Our work focused on creating a comprehensive suite of bereavement materials—including educational guides, program resources, and digital assets—that helped CMHA Windsor-Essex deliver consistent, accessible support across their community. These materials were designed to simplify outreach, strengthen engagement, and create a supportive pathway for those navigating grief.

Because the program addressed a significant province-wide gap, the assets we created were built with adaptability and scalability in mind. The full package of materials and training resources now serves as the foundation for other CMHA branches that currently do not have bereavement programming in place. With these templates, branches across Ontario can confidently introduce and implement the Bereavement program, guided by a clear and supportive framework.

Through a blend of educational content, digital engagement, and community initiatives, the campaign expanded access to mental-health resources, sparked meaningful conversations, and made bereavement support more widely available. 🧠
